♥ NESY: At least I tried :)

Like expected, I didn't get an offer for India placement next year. Sad? Yes definitely.. It would be a bunch of craps if I say I don't really care, since I really did apply for it and went for the interview. At least, I applied, I got an interview, and I experienced before, and I didn't give myself a chance to regret about it! I know God must had a better deal in store for me! :)

Giving up? No way, its Nesy! I still have the chance to go rural areas and Singapore for placements! I shall learn from my mistakes, get ready for the upcoming challenges!

You know what's the best thing I learnt out of this incident? I felt LOVED. Sms supports fulled of smiley faces from Dad, telling me how proud he is to have a daughter like me, LJ who helped me with my interview practise and the last minutes of support...In the end, its really the ongoing process that really matters.

For those two who got the India placements, you guys really deserve it :)

* A hug from JJ jr just made my day :D

Big hugs for everyone. Hold on tight to happiness, for it is invaluable!

*Thought of The Day: Arm ourselves for war? No! All the arms we need are for hugging.

♥ NESY: and hence, tata winter holidays 2009

Yes, time flies, within a glimpse, without you even notice it. Apart from the weather (rainy), everything turned out really good! Great Melbourne, Adelaide trip, great spending time with friends in Perth, and yes, THANK GOD!

This blog was unofficially abandoned for quite some time due to the fact that both the pig and polar bear were busy with their stuff. Piggy me was busy working, polar bear was and is still busy with his sim and exams. On behalf of him, i apologize to all of you! =)

Talking about working, it was GOOD! Working in a pharmacy made me learnt alot and prompted me to know more. Though standing 9-11 hours per day isn't fun AT ALL, and when there's no customers, its bored to the max, overall, Im glad with the outcome. At least now Im starting to get better in guessing the doctors' handwritings? And speaking about the 500 hours that we need to complete before graduate, im a step nearly! Haha.... But frankly speaking, deep in my heart, I know this isn't what I want. To be a community pharmacist is always my last choice, I always wanted to be a clinical pharmacist. But we all know our ways or dreams are never God's ways, so let's just see how God's gona take me in my journey. =)

This semester will be the last semester in uni. Startin next year onwards, all of us will be dealing with our rotations, getting ourselves working in the unknown community. Isn't that GREAT that we can finally say goodbye to our stressful and tired uni life? I guess not, I guess Im starting to miss the time having lectures at lec halls with friends, having lunches together, gossiping this and that, enjoying ourselves in labs....Arrgh....that's just life. I guess I must learn to appreciate this last semester with my besties =) And yes, this semester 'looked' easy and relaxing, at least less lectures and labs, but nobody knows whats laying in the future, so who knows...=S so i must NOT take it tooo easy...mmm..

Winter had made me gained some extra unwanted pounds, I am trying to say NO to sweet things and motivating myself to MOVE MORE SIT LESS EAT LESS. I wonder if i could do it. hmm...I will try...

Oh well, to end this post, i shall share with you all my recent fav song:

Mariah Carey's I'LL BE THERE

This song really touched my heart, it really motivated me! Isn't that GREAT when you know there's hope, faith and LOVE in life? =) Keep on moving people!

♥ Nesy: There can be miracle

'There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill
Who know what miracle
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe...'
-Mariah Carey~

After all tests and exam, I couldn't believe...I PASSED EVERYTHING, including the so called hopeless COMPOUNDING TEST ( indeed, I got quite a high mark for it!). Bloody chemo exam really did give me a HUGE relief ! (Here's the strange system that works in our batch: You fail this exam, you will go straight back to second year next year....Which means, instead of fourth year for me next year, I will be going back to SECOND year IF i fail!) RAR....Arrgh...thank you Lord...thank you so much for your blessings!

Now the big deal is the upcoming exams in June... Now thats HORRIBLE TERRIBLE VEGETABLE!
Sigh, less than a month time now before the war begins! And yes, rather than stressing here, I shall really start my study asap... Walking in faith and endurance, I CAN DO IT!

Thought of the Day:
Exams are like old-age homes, except for the fact that more people 'die' in exams.

♥ NESY: screwed up

I hate to admit....but the fact is..I screwed up my bloody compounding test...Sigh....crossed finger I am eligible for a supp/ I don't even need a supp. Four products I only finished like three. Out of three, one I wrote the label wrongly...which is...25% flew away....so two left, one I forgot to put C&A label, one I wrote the wrong formula...what are the chances for me to pass? You think about it.

I must not give up... Two tests to go: Chem Prac test tomorrow, Dispensary test on Wednesday; after that I need to stand for 6 hours [working] again. Busy week.... I must endure!

Today, I learnt my lesson, I will never EVER believe and rely on someone anymore.... Felt betrayed...its like...all these while I'm t
reating you as one of my close friend, to help you out in any circumstances. And now, what happens when I shouted for a little help? Sigh...but.. life goes on...Learn to forgive and forget? But one thing for sure, there will always be a scar on a broken glass.

Luckily... I still have my greatest ZL and Sally to sob and roar with me. =) and of course, my best LJ...always there trying his best to cheer me up and loading me with love pils...I love you all!

Still, thank you Lord for the day. May I continue to walk in faith.
I will continue to smile! Now your turn to smile! =)

♥ ouch, Pokey day

Hmm....it was neither black Friday nor I was blind. And the fact is, I had pricked myself twice yesterday. Funny? Kind of...Well, sense of humour is vital whenever PAIN is involved. The 'murderers' who were found to be guilty: a PIN and a 1mL 19 gage syringe:

#1. The so called SAFETY pin incident:
- Time of Incident: 7:48am
- Place of Incident: My comfy bedroom
- Site of injury: The sole of right foot
- Depth of wound: 1cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 6
And so, I was still happily to Uni for my lab class. Well, it was an interesting lab, dealing with aseptic techniques and syringes! Oh syringes....was, is and will be my favourite at all times! So while my lab instructor was giving us explaination, I was playing with the syringe...And opps..
#2. The syringe incident:
- Time of incident: 10:32am
- Place of incident: Sterile Lab
- Site of injury: Right thumb
-Length of wound: 0.4cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 1

Conclusion: My thumb isn't painful at all now. The sole of my right foot is slightly swollen and a bit painful whenever i walk, hmm..must be the PGs and histamines doing their work.
Well well well...At least I enjoyed my lab, was fun. We were given a so called little Red Riding Hood Basket, filling it with syringes, vials, gauzes, beakers, forcep and plasters, off we went into the sterile clean room. Inserting the needle into the vial did remind me of the first time when I learnt how to extract blood from someone's arm for blood test. Well, by comparing both the bung and the arm's texture, I bet i still like human arms! =D
My Little Red Riding Hood Basket
The Laminar Flow...
It claims that all the air that flow out are sterile. It made me felt that Im so healthy since Im breathing FRESH AIR! (LAME...)
Goodbye to the 1st five weeks of Uni, and hello to WEEK 6 soon..sigh =( Time flies....and that freaks me off! (aging)
*Thought of the Day: Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If you quit, however, it lasts forever.

♥ in memories of...East Donnie

I hate Window Vista, because everything seemed to be abnormal, chunky, complicated and NOT cool at all....It used up alot of my computer's memory....rar!! But one good thing about Vista is, you get to put some gadgets on the right hand side of your desktop which claimed to make your life easier and happier. At some point I do agree...You see, I added this slide show gadget, where it non-stop showing all the old and new photos from my photo albums...and I found some photos which spring up my memories of the old days:

Four years ago:

The recent:

EDSC....did brought alot of agonies to me (academically), but it did gather few of us from different places over the world, and created histories and memories for us.How I wish I could wind back the time.... As years passed by, things changed, people changed...But its the memories that never fade away... And Im sure, 10 years later, I will still miss them as much as now I am...=) (pss..I miss Melbourne!)

chop chop, enough with the memories....A tempo GOODBYE to my memories and HELLO to the art of cardiovascular...Good Morning Australia!

♥ pre and post exam of sweet bitter sem

Just a month before exam :

This was finished within a month.

During exam period:

This was finished within 12days.

Conclusion: Being a fan of Nescafe Gold for years, I shall still stick with it, still simply the best. I must admit Im a coffee freak.. But due to the fact that caffeine overloaded is NOT good for our lovely bodies and souls, hence I shall see my coffee next EOS exam =)

This...was fully utilized too during exam:

I used like 8 sachets of it in 2 weeks..Helped alot...saved my days. LJ is always thoughtful and caring enough =) thanks

And when all the woobly wambly timey wimey days had finally come to an end, it is time...PRISONBREAK..castings: Nesy n friends

First des: Zhong Chai Guan for dim sum brunch. Its a newly open chinese Restaurant. It got my vote for the best DimSum in Perth so far.

Next, if u ever ask me what is the best exercise for a girl I would answer you SHOPPING. You can burn your calories and get what you want at the same time. Why not?=)

A random pix of us three shopping and came along with the latest so called strippies sunnies..These are few of those normal edition...There are some with the strippies conquering the whole lenses..and I wondered who came out with this fancy fashion sense?

When the night falls:

Dinner at Llama Bar. Great western food served, and a very entertaining life band performance.I would say Im loving it! =)

A meal without dessert will be incomplete! Though we girls wanted cake for dessert so much, unfortunately shops that have fancy cakes were all closed. Hence:

Final Des: Icy Ice.Green tea ice as dessert after a meaty meal definitely won't go wrong.

And that's the end of the post exam celebration. And now the start of house shifting and holiday chapters. There shall be further updates for my new house new room, and of course more fun and excitements to live with darling ZL. =) (*psss...not to forget the post exam trauma: fear and worries for the result)

Three more days....And I will be seeing LJ...* greatest excitement and gift for post exam =D wheee....*

Thank you Lord so much for the abundant blessings you had given me throughout this semester. Though not everything turned out to be great, yet I know this is your way and you will never break me but to make me a better stronger woman. Thank you Lord, all I have is from you and may you continue to guide me through my life, teach me to learn to put everything unto your hands, forgive my sins and help me to learn to repent them.Amen.

*Thought of the Day: A new day, with a new sunrise, with a new hope, but with a forever the same Abba Father that will never abandon you but loving you unconditionally.

♥ the shortcut..

The shortcut to walking long distances,
was the bombastically haughty and silken complexionedand scarlet cars;
The shortcut to waiting for rain to pelt down inharmonious unison from the sky,
was to stand under anincessant stream of artificial bathroom shower water,
The shortcut to speaking a hundred lies,
is utteringan irrefutably solitary yet formidably invincibletruth.

And her...

She took a shortcut,
browsing randomly through the overwhelmingly bulky notes...

And now...

SHE REGRETED...
(will LT and Crowey have pity & mercy on me?)

Still...she believes there's something like THIS:

With fingers crossed, may she make it til the end of the victory. With God..everything..anything...its POSSIBLE! =)

Thank you Lord, may I continue to grow in strength, teach me to be humble, to be more like Jesus...to shine for you! Amen.

(*Pss..its 15th again in another 40 minutes...one more month, it will be another annual journey..TQ for the journey, and TQ for making the BEST out of the LIMITED me =D)

♥ Another brain needed desperately

Like others, I am still happily surviving....NOT! But yeh, at least not suffering the neither positive nor negative symptoms of schizoprenia, depression nor anxiety. And oh yeh, not to forget, I DID NOT turn to food for stress relief this time. *clap clap* In fact, I suspected there's a DELAY in the synapses between my axon terminals! Or insufficient neurotransmitters produced? Where the heck are my nerves?????

This is my current poor brain capacity.

I need THIS specially made enlarged brain!

13 more days, so far yet so near. Where is the end point of it?Dear Lord, please guide the little girl through this as you always did. May you grant her wisdom and health, courage and strength. Amen.

*Thought of the Day: You already have great knowledge and you have access to much, much more. Achievement comes from using your knowledge to drive your actions toward the goals you have chosen.

♥ land of euphoria--coming soon

Do you see what I see?

-----

Stars glowing bright in the sky,

guiding her through the Land of Brittle Exams.

Marshmallows fell like snow falling,

shaped the paths that she could walk on.

-----

-----

And beyond the bushes of Exams,

she forsees the other end of the world-
Land of Euphoria:

Ferrero Roche balls that she can bounce on,

Hershey Kisses as hats that she could wear.

-----

-----

Chocolate cakes are Rocky Mountains,

Kit Kat bars are canoes floating on the lake made of chocolate milk,

Famous-amos are like comets hitting the lake,

crumble, crumble, crash!!!

-----

-----

Cheesecakes are fluffy chairs next to the peaceful lake,

caramel popcorns are little daisy flowers blooming,

and finally ice creams colours mixed up,

painting a beautiful sunset in the sky.

-----

-----

-----

* One month to go...I shall see my Land of Euphoria =)

♥ The Battle within

As they wandered through her room and among her piles of sorrow,
she was almost concealed.

They wrapped their covers carefully around her without making a sound;
no matter how soft they were, they bruise her brain;
not knowing the damage, a dreadful melody they sang.

Caged in their covers she started to worry,
she started to cry and her vision gets blurry,
she doesn't know where she should start from.

While starting to realize she was meant to love them,
her spirit slowly starts to dry.

If only she had heard their screams,
if only she could spend more time with them,
if only...

In memory of: A day of PMS...
