♥ ouch, Pokey day

Hmm....it was neither black Friday nor I was blind. And the fact is, I had pricked myself twice yesterday. Funny? Kind of...Well, sense of humour is vital whenever PAIN is involved. The 'murderers' who were found to be guilty: a PIN and a 1mL 19 gage syringe:

#1. The so called SAFETY pin incident:
- Time of Incident: 7:48am
- Place of Incident: My comfy bedroom
- Site of injury: The sole of right foot
- Depth of wound: 1cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 6
And so, I was still happily to Uni for my lab class. Well, it was an interesting lab, dealing with aseptic techniques and syringes! Oh syringes....was, is and will be my favourite at all times! So while my lab instructor was giving us explaination, I was playing with the syringe...And opps..
#2. The syringe incident:
- Time of incident: 10:32am
- Place of incident: Sterile Lab
- Site of injury: Right thumb
-Length of wound: 0.4cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 1

Conclusion: My thumb isn't painful at all now. The sole of my right foot is slightly swollen and a bit painful whenever i walk, hmm..must be the PGs and histamines doing their work.
Well well well...At least I enjoyed my lab, was fun. We were given a so called little Red Riding Hood Basket, filling it with syringes, vials, gauzes, beakers, forcep and plasters, off we went into the sterile clean room. Inserting the needle into the vial did remind me of the first time when I learnt how to extract blood from someone's arm for blood test. Well, by comparing both the bung and the arm's texture, I bet i still like human arms! =D
My Little Red Riding Hood Basket
The Laminar Flow...
It claims that all the air that flow out are sterile. It made me felt that Im so healthy since Im breathing FRESH AIR! (LAME...)
Goodbye to the 1st five weeks of Uni, and hello to WEEK 6 soon..sigh =( Time flies....and that freaks me off! (aging)
*Thought of the Day: Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If you quit, however, it lasts forever.
