♥ ouch, Pokey day

Hmm....it was neither black Friday nor I was blind. And the fact is, I had pricked myself twice yesterday. Funny? Kind of...Well, sense of humour is vital whenever PAIN is involved. The 'murderers' who were found to be guilty: a PIN and a 1mL 19 gage syringe:

#1. The so called SAFETY pin incident:
- Time of Incident: 7:48am
- Place of Incident: My comfy bedroom
- Site of injury: The sole of right foot
- Depth of wound: 1cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 6
And so, I was still happily to Uni for my lab class. Well, it was an interesting lab, dealing with aseptic techniques and syringes! Oh syringes....was, is and will be my favourite at all times! So while my lab instructor was giving us explaination, I was playing with the syringe...And opps..
#2. The syringe incident:
- Time of incident: 10:32am
- Place of incident: Sterile Lab
- Site of injury: Right thumb
-Length of wound: 0.4cm
- Level of pain (rate from 0-9): 1

Conclusion: My thumb isn't painful at all now. The sole of my right foot is slightly swollen and a bit painful whenever i walk, hmm..must be the PGs and histamines doing their work.
Well well well...At least I enjoyed my lab, was fun. We were given a so called little Red Riding Hood Basket, filling it with syringes, vials, gauzes, beakers, forcep and plasters, off we went into the sterile clean room. Inserting the needle into the vial did remind me of the first time when I learnt how to extract blood from someone's arm for blood test. Well, by comparing both the bung and the arm's texture, I bet i still like human arms! =D
My Little Red Riding Hood Basket
The Laminar Flow...
It claims that all the air that flow out are sterile. It made me felt that Im so healthy since Im breathing FRESH AIR! (LAME...)
Goodbye to the 1st five weeks of Uni, and hello to WEEK 6 soon..sigh =( Time flies....and that freaks me off! (aging)
*Thought of the Day: Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If you quit, however, it lasts forever.

♥ in memories of...East Donnie

I hate Window Vista, because everything seemed to be abnormal, chunky, complicated and NOT cool at all....It used up alot of my computer's memory....rar!! But one good thing about Vista is, you get to put some gadgets on the right hand side of your desktop which claimed to make your life easier and happier. At some point I do agree...You see, I added this slide show gadget, where it non-stop showing all the old and new photos from my photo albums...and I found some photos which spring up my memories of the old days:

Four years ago:

The recent:

EDSC....did brought alot of agonies to me (academically), but it did gather few of us from different places over the world, and created histories and memories for us.How I wish I could wind back the time.... As years passed by, things changed, people changed...But its the memories that never fade away... And Im sure, 10 years later, I will still miss them as much as now I am...=) (pss..I miss Melbourne!)

chop chop, enough with the memories....A tempo GOODBYE to my memories and HELLO to the art of cardiovascular...Good Morning Australia!

Thought of the Day: We do not remember days; we remember moments.

♥ updates

This blog has been kind of abandoned for months...Sorry about that...Its all due to HER laziness... Well, some updates about HER:

1. I had a wonderful summer break, GREAT FAMILY REUNION, GREAT FOOD!It was just so good to be home!

2. 3rd year study sucks, there's heaps more of studying to go compared with last year's study load. Felt cheated by the seniors who told us 2nd year is the hardest! =( and oh yes, not to forget the LOVELY 'matrix' timetable! Oh well, I just have to pray hard, study hard..and have faith in Him! I know God will watch over me =)

the interesting insane timetable

3. Im now living with my awesome bestie ZL. Life has been good for these few weeks. We cooked, we laughed, we slept together and we helped each others out all the time! Life is extra ordinary colorful when you met someone who can share anything with you!

4. I just finished watching this Singapore Series called Little Nyonya. ZL and I were really crazy about it. It was a really good TV series, impressed by the Singaporeans, and of course im proud of Malaysia! I shall blog about this series...some time later...I promise =)

5. I started to reach out even more for God, knowing that He's the only one I can count on. There are times when I looked back and regretted why didn't I spend more time in His words and going all the ways which is against His wills. May I learn to confess and repent my sins as I continue my life on this earth.

6. Relationships are easy to gain but hard to maintain and mend. Things didn't really work out recently, and Im still searching for the answers. I knew I wanted it so much, I never doubted the question of meant to be or not; but now...rather than thinking for myself, I should had really start thinking for others.

7. Curious about my diet plan? The answer is: NONE diet plan so far. I had been maintaining a not-so-fat-not-so-skinny but borderline of FAT size....(Im confused!) The mood of being on a diet to hit a 40+ has gone far far away.....well, yeh....I will...one day..someday...I promise=)

My recent addiction: Dove DARK Choc... Researchers found out that the flavanoids in dark choc reduce the BAD cholesterol. =)

Ok, thats all for now..I will try to keep this blog alive. And yes, I might just say goodbye to my beloved layout soon. And instead of a blog, Im considering to change it to a PHLOG .=D Suits lazy ppl like me!

Thought of the Day: When everyone turned their back on you, GOD is still always there for you!
