♥ NESY: chocolates overdose+ distorted tooth = nightmare $$

I must admit Im a chocolate lover (duh?!), Im not a good teeth cleaner as well, plus...I had a distorted tooth at this particular spot....In the end, it caused a disaster, to my poor mouth and my wallet $$. =(

So yeh, the distorted tooth had been sitting there quietly for quite some time until few years ago I was curious why my short toungue can touch the teeth easily. Under curiousity, I looked into the mirror and suprisingly found a 'third party' joining the 1st premolar of my upper teeth. When I went for my dentist appointment in Malaysia, one dentist advice me to get rid of it while the other one said just don't bother about it. Personally Im not a big fan of going to a dental clinic, course I will be happy to not bother about it!

As time goes by, the extra little tooth started to have some 'little actions', trying to get some attention from me, sometimes it can be very painful, sometimes it just sits there quietly. I always ignored it, until YESTERDAY, when I was working, it suddenly alarmed me NON STOP. Taking two tabs of neurofen did make it to be obedient, but only temporary, for a few hours. In the end, I just can't stand it, I google and searched some nearby dental clinic contact numbers. Some just said: Oh, the earliest appointment is next week, oh, you will need to wait for another three days.... Im like WHAT? My tooth is aching now, I CANT WAIT. Luckily there's this friendly lady suggested me to this particular so called emergency dental clinic. In the end, they will see me tomorrow morning. I CANT WAIT!

During the night, I did hesitate to remove or not to remove the tooth, because I knew its going to cost me a bomb! So I used a mirror to see how the poor tooth looked like now. Surprise surprise, its DECAYED and part of it had turned black! Yukssss.... So I had decided, no matter how, I shall go for the dentist! God bless me! =(

This was how my poor 'third party' looked like in my oral cavity, right next to my 1st premolar.

A closer look of it, can you actually see the blackened bit? =S Yukks nesy

So I went to the clinic today, the operator told me that I will need to go to the SURGICAL CLINIC. My heart sunk. * Oh good gracious, is it THAT bad? SURGERY?* So off I went to another surgical clinic, waited for 15 minutes, finally my turn. The dentist was nice and friendly, but from the moment she said she needs to take an X- ray for my teeth, shes a DEVIL WOMAN! I sensed something BAD. So after the X ray result, she told me I will need a minor surgery for my decayed tooth, since its involving the tooth, gum and bone. She will need to take out my partial gum! She asked me:' Ka Mei, how can you stand the toothache for so long?' Im like...ok...I never really had a major toothache until yesterday?

Hence I put on a sunglasses, she switched on the tv which was situated at the ceiling, it was very comfy...thats IF you don't have to face a tooth surgery! She injected 4 syringes of local anaesthetic drug (which i think its lidocaine) into my cheek, gum and the premolar tooth. Everything that happened next wasn't that scary, i can just felt pressure in my mouth, seeing her using bone curettes, extracting forceps... and FINALLY, the stubborn decayed tooth is out! All i can taste in my mouth is blood. The dentist gave me a pack of antibiotic and pain killers (codeine forte).

My after look, say goodbye to decayed 'third party'.

I still went to uni, and my besties took me for Baskin Robbins which was really sweet of them! And yes, still went for my lab class. Everything was alright, with a bit of pain, so i took two tabs of Codeine forte. I thought everything will be alright. After roughly an hour, while i was standing and listening to what the lab assistant was trying to tell us, I BLACKED OUT! Excess blood loss? Codeine that causes drowsiness? Insufficient food intake? I don't know!=S Well thank God for good friends around that always give support and care and help =)

The two prescribed drugs. Label 1 for sexy codaigin.

My disgusting decayed tooth!

♥ NESY: and hence, tata winter holidays 2009

Yes, time flies, within a glimpse, without you even notice it. Apart from the weather (rainy), everything turned out really good! Great Melbourne, Adelaide trip, great spending time with friends in Perth, and yes, THANK GOD!

This blog was unofficially abandoned for quite some time due to the fact that both the pig and polar bear were busy with their stuff. Piggy me was busy working, polar bear was and is still busy with his sim and exams. On behalf of him, i apologize to all of you! =)

Talking about working, it was GOOD! Working in a pharmacy made me learnt alot and prompted me to know more. Though standing 9-11 hours per day isn't fun AT ALL, and when there's no customers, its bored to the max, overall, Im glad with the outcome. At least now Im starting to get better in guessing the doctors' handwritings? And speaking about the 500 hours that we need to complete before graduate, im a step nearly! Haha.... But frankly speaking, deep in my heart, I know this isn't what I want. To be a community pharmacist is always my last choice, I always wanted to be a clinical pharmacist. But we all know our ways or dreams are never God's ways, so let's just see how God's gona take me in my journey. =)

This semester will be the last semester in uni. Startin next year onwards, all of us will be dealing with our rotations, getting ourselves working in the unknown community. Isn't that GREAT that we can finally say goodbye to our stressful and tired uni life? I guess not, I guess Im starting to miss the time having lectures at lec halls with friends, having lunches together, gossiping this and that, enjoying ourselves in labs....Arrgh....that's just life. I guess I must learn to appreciate this last semester with my besties =) And yes, this semester 'looked' easy and relaxing, at least less lectures and labs, but nobody knows whats laying in the future, so who knows...=S so i must NOT take it tooo easy...mmm..

Winter had made me gained some extra unwanted pounds, I am trying to say NO to sweet things and motivating myself to MOVE MORE SIT LESS EAT LESS. I wonder if i could do it. hmm...I will try...

Oh well, to end this post, i shall share with you all my recent fav song:

Mariah Carey's I'LL BE THERE

This song really touched my heart, it really motivated me! Isn't that GREAT when you know there's hope, faith and LOVE in life? =) Keep on moving people!

Thought of the Day:Hope is a universal language.
